“It’s time to throw up the white flag and admit we don’t know what’s going on..”

Those were my doctor’s words as he handed me my MRI appointment referral. To make the long story short, the steroids didn’t help, and no one has an idea of what is wrong with me. My MRI appointment is tomorrow morning, and the results should be back next Tuesday. So, hopefully this will shed some light on the situation. As of right now, my knee is doing all kinds of crazy things. I can go for hours with no pain at all, and then I decide to walk up the stairs or sit down, or shift my weight onto my right leg, and then the pain is back. It actually started radiating all the way up into my hip. Serge actually had to modify my physical therapy routine because certain things that didn’t bother my knee before are bothering it now. With my luck this is going to end up being some kind of knee-cap-eating alien life form that has never been known to science before. Grrrr!!!

For now, I’m just not going to dwell on it and will concentrate on other stuff – my diet, my core workout, my flexibility, etc. So that when they finally figure out what in the world is wrong with me, I will be able to hit the ground running.
